Process Safety Management (PSM)
If your organization is contemplating a change to a PSM process, due for a process hazard analysis (PHA) revalidation, a three-year compliance audit, or a risk management program (RMP) update, EORM provides program management and compliance support services. In addition to supporting the program’s tactical elements, our consultants can help you in the development of a high-level Compliance Roadmap.

PSM/RMP Applicability Determination
Your processes and chemical inventories are assessed for applicability of PSM and/or RMP or Cal-ARP (California-based facilities) regulations.
Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
EORM facilitators use a focused approach to providing efficient and comprehensive technical analysis which complies with PSM and RMP using HAZ-OP, FMECA, What IF?, or Fault Tree Analysis methods.
Offsite Consequence Analysis (OCA)
Using the RMP OCA guidance and dispersion models such as TSCREEN and DEGADIS, our OCA experience under the California predecessor Risk Management and Prevention Program includes comprehensive release rate calculations and dispersion modeling.
PSM/RMP Compliance Audits
EORM consultants determine your level of compliance with PSM and RMP regulations while supplementing regulatory authority audit guidance protocols with our experience in real-life effective program implementation strategies.
Program Element Development and Implementation Assistance
EORM consultants work with you to develop a custom framework for optimizing the use of your existing programs for required PSM elements. We’re also experienced in creating additional customized elements, including operating procedures, training, contractor safety, mechanical integrity, pre-start-up safety review, emergency planning, and incident investigation.
Pre-start-up Safety Reviews
Using customized checklists, which are based on Process Safety Information and PHA results, EORM consultants can facilitate and document pre-start-up safety reviews.
Management of Change (MOC) Programs
The MOC procedures and checklists that EORM has developed efficiently address reviews, authorization requirements, and mechanisms to ensure related changes (e.g., to documentation) are made.
