Facility Closure Support
EORM consultants will partner with you to create and implement hazardous materials facility closure and equipment decontamination plans. Together, we will work to ensure the appropriate and safe decommissioning of equipment, surfaces, and utilities related to facility processes and operations.

Although EORM has decommissioning experience in multiple industries, general services we offer include the following. For additional or more specific services, contact your local EORM consultant.
- Development of closure and / or decommissioning plans for process intensive manufacturing processes.
- Determination of potential contamination and recommended decontamination levels.
- Development of decontamination procedures and cleaning methods.
- Development of sampling strategies and procedures and conduction clearance sampling flowing decontamination.
- Identification, pre-qualification, and oversight of decommissioning contractors.
- Providing certification that equipment has been decontaminated in accordance with SEMI S12, Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines for Equipment Decontamination, or the Surplus Equipment and Safety Guidelines for Equipment Decontamination, or the Surplus Equipment Consortium Network, Inc. (SEC/N) Guidelines.
- Assistance with international and domestic shipping requirements related to transportation of decontaminated equipment or equipment containing residual hazards that are classified as regulated hazardous materials.
- Assistance with Environmental Regulatory Permit modification or termination.
- Preparation and submittal of Post Closure Reports
