Comprehensive EHS Auditing

Our ESH assessment services are scalable and range from a simplified high-level review of a facility’s ESH compliance and/or management systems status, to an in-depth review of all relevant compliance, management systems, and best practices. EORM consultants use a customized, prioritized approach to classifying management systems, best practices, and compliance findings. This helps you more effectively channel resources to address these issues, which may minimize injuries, illnesses, property damage, environmental impacts, and business interruption.
Characteristics of an EORM EHS Audit
Our
assessments generally begin by gathering ESH information from the site via
a Pre-assessment Questionnaire and Request for Information. The team then
conducts an on-site assessment via detailed inspections, documentation reviews,
and employee/ management interviews.
At a final debriefing meeting, the team reviews preliminary findings with the site management team. This is followed by the development of a written report that provides an overview of the site and the team’s approach; a detailed list of findings that consists of regulatory citations, ESH topic areas, a summary of the requirements, our findings; and specific recommendations. We also provide a root cause analysis to help the site address why a particular finding occurred. A summary presentation to management is often provided following submission of the final written report. An assessment leader manages the team to make certain your company’s technical and quality expectations are met.
How You Benefit
EORM works with you to identify gaps in compliance programs and opportunities for improvement in your company’s (or facility’s) ESH management system. With ongoing improvement in these programs, your company will better manage risk, increase productivity, and meet compliance goals and initiatives. Together, we gain an understanding of your ESH challenges and provide recommendations that not only address immediate issues but also address the root cause(s) of the findings to ensure that the issue does not reoccur.
Our EHS staff is available during periods when critical issues may need
to be addressed (following a regulatory visit, for example) or during regularly
scheduled periods when there is time for more -strategic focus on the issues.
