Determining the correct strategies to meet hazardous material code compliance objectives can be daunting for even the most senior EHS managers. - Assisting design engineers with understanding and meeting the intent of the Building Code Hazardous occupancy requirements and the Fire Code requirements relating to the storage and use of hazardous materials.
- Determining appropriate classifications for hazardous materials and developing Hazardous Materials Inventory Statements (HMIS) and Hazardous Materials Management Plans (HMMP) to meet local jurisdictional requirements.
- Determining room or area occupancy assignments based on the Building and Fire Code control area allowances.
