EORM Names Paul Johnson Chief Financial Officer
July 26, 2006
Environmental and Occupational Risk Management, Inc. (EORM®), a premier environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management consulting firm, announced today that Paul Johnson has been named Chief Financial Officer, taking over for Janice McKim, who recently retired.
Johnson has over 25 years experience working in financial leadership positions in a range of private and public sector organizations. Previously, he was president of his own accounting consulting company, Capital Project Investment Control, Inc., which provided corporations and public entities with financial analyses, budgeting, reporting, and cost controls for major construction projects. He was also co-owner and CFO of Nova Partners, Inc., a real estate development and construction management firm located in Palo Alto, CA.
"Paul Johnson’s industry background, which includes working for two Fortune 100 high technology companies – Intel Corporation and Apple Computer, Inc. – makes him highly qualified to help support EORM’s many corporate, large institution and public entity clients," commented Glenn Fishler, EORM president and CEO. "In both the day-to-day transaction processing functions and in the strategic decision support functions, he will provide top-notch accounting and finance leadership to the organization."
Johnson holds the Certified Management Accounting designation, a seal of approval and measure of competency that is recognized internationally in both business and academic circles. The CMA, in contrast to the better-known CPA, is trained to serve within an organization as the finance and accounting leader rather than to perform auditing or tax preparation services. Johnson attained both an MBA and a BS in Mathematical Economics from Santa Clara University.
